The Rheged centre, Penrith are making sure that children and adults are well entertained this Halloween! Preparations are already underway so that there are plenty of spooktacular events over the October half term to satisfy all ghoul and ghost lovers!
Starting on Saturday 27th October, a week of spooky going-on’s will descend over the grass-covered building! You can choose from making your own Halloween costume with artist Ellie Chaney, perfecting your inner-monster with a Halloween themed dance workshop by Razamataz or carve your very own pumpkin with one of the Rheged chefs!
There will also be a free spooky Halloween trail throughout the week and the old classic supernatural comedy “Ghostbusters” will be resurrected Saturday-Friday on the gigantic cinema screen! For those more excited about Bonfire Night being just around the corner; on Thursday 1st November children can get the chance to make bonfire treats with Cumbrian-based celebrity chef Peter Sidwell.
Rheged Marketing Manager, Holly Venning said, “I absolutely love Halloween, being a Christmas baby you’d think it would be all about December for me, but I love this time of year. It’s the chance to be a kid again and we’ve made sure we have events for the little ones but that the adults can secretly enjoy too! I’m really excited about having Ghostbusters on our cinema screen, it’s a classic that I can’t wait to share with my two little nieces.”
