A man from Brampton is facing a likely prison sentence after being caught with more than £5,000-worth of cocaine.
At Carlisle Crown Court today (mon) 50-year-old Kevin Francis Troughear, of Gelt Road, Brampton, pleaded guilty to possessing the class A drug with intent to supply it.
Troughear, a general labourer with Brampton-based Driveline Construction, was remanded on bail for background reports, but the judge warned him these would only help him decide how long the “almost inevitable” prison sentence should be.
Troughear will be sentenced on December 5.
In the meantime he was put under a curfew to keep him at home every night from 7pm to 6am.
