The Black Swan Inn in Cumbria has been sold for an asking price of £475,000 by the specialist hotels and licensed property team at real estate advisors Colliers International.

Acting on behalf of Eden Valley Inn Limited, Colliers sold the property in the village of Culgaith in the Eden Valley to Stephen and Jacqueline Harvey who live locally at Stainton, near Penrith.

The Black Swan Inn offers seven en-suite letting bedrooms, a 36-cover restaurant, bar area and two-bed owners’ flat.

Haydn Spedding, associate director with the specialist hotels and licensed property team at the Manchester office of Colliers International, secured the sale and said: “Our sale of The Black Swan Inn provides further evidence of ongoing confidence among buyers in the Cumbria hospitality market, with recent research by Cumbria Tourism highlighting excellent levels of room occupancy throughout the county.”
