[P]olice investigating an incident at Botcherby Avenue in Carlisle have established that no offences were committed.
Police were contacted at 8.54am yesterday (14th June) in connection with an incident within a property on Botcherby Avenue.
A 45-year-old man from Carlisle was arrested after armed officers attended, he has subsequently been released with no further action to be taken.
Superintendent Justin Bibby said: “Our job is to keep people safe and we always encourage people to report any suspicious behaviour so that we can deal with it.
“Our investigation into yesterday’s incident has concluded and no further action will be taken.
“I’d like to thank the public for their patience and ongoing support.”
