[A]t 7:26pm yesterday, Wednesday 14 June firefighters were called to a kitchen fire at a property on Latrigg Street, Silloth.
Two fire engines, one from Aspatria and one from Silloth, attended the incident.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “The fire was located in the kitchen and crews used two breathing apparatus, cutting equipment, a thermal imaging camera and one hose reel jet to control and extinguish the fire.
“One person was treated by crews suffering from slight smoke inhalation.
“Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour.”
