[P]olice are investigating an incident of criminal damage and an assault on a man, aged 58, in Whitehaven.
The incident occurred on Friday 2nd June at approximately 10pm whereby a flat window was smashed with a glass bottle which faces onto Castle Park by a group of young people.
The youths have been confronted by a man and have then went on to assault him causing a graze to his head.
The main offender is described as a white male, aged approximately 15 years old and was wearing a red tracksuit top.
The assault took place at the entrance to Castle Park on Catherine Street.
