[A]t 9:30pm yesterday, Saturday 17 June firefighters were called to a kitchen fire on Friargate in Penrith.
The kitchen measured 8m x 8m and was heavily involved in fire.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters, four wearing breathing apparatus, used hose reel jets to bring the blaze under control.
“A thermal imaging camera was then used to make sure there were no hotspots that could reignite.
“A high pressure fan was used to ventilate the property.”
