[A]t 8:16pm yesterday, Wednesday 21 June firefighters were called to a house fire on Lumley Street, Barrow-in-Furness.
Two fire engines, one from Barrow-in-Furness and one from Walney, attended the incident which was a mattress on fire in a bedroom.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “The mattress was well alight on arrival and crews, two wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to put out the fire.
“They then checked the house using a thermal imaging camera.”
