[T]he Kendal office of Rathbones Investment management has been unveiled as a sponsor in this year’s international Lake District Summer Music Festival – bringing world artists performing great music, against the backdrop of Cumbria’s inspirational landscape.
The national investment management firm has agreed to sponsor the final concert of the distinguished Music Festival – to take place in Ambleside’s beautiful Parish Church, one of the most popular festival venues, on Friday 11th August.
The performers of this final festival concert are the renowned Berkeley Ensemble. Their’s is a programme which offers the sheer joy of Haydn’s String Trio in G major, the brilliance of Hasenöhrl’s Till Eulenspiegel einmal anders! and brings both concert and festival to a grand finale with the spell binding genius of Schubert’s masterpiece, his Octet in F major.
The Berkeley Ensemble has built a reputation for its innovative and thought provoking performances.
The concert begins at 7.30pm and tickets are priced at £24 or £17 for concessions.
