[A]t 9:39am today, Thursday 3 August firefighters were called to a van which was well alight in Sandysike, Longtown near Carlisle.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “The van contained old washing machines and the crew used a hose reel to extinguish the flames.”
