[A]N Eden Valley man has admitted two child sex crimes – one involving a youngster aged around 10.
Daniel McKenzie Bradley, 33, faced two charges when he appeared at Carlisle Crown Court.
He admitted attempting to intentionally incite a female aged under 16 to engage in sexual activity. Bradley also pleaded guilty to causing or inciting a different child to engage in sexual activity.
One of the females was said to be “around the age of 10”.
The court heard Bradley had submitted a formal basis for his admission of offences which occurred between early January and mid-October last year. At a previous court hearing, he admitted three counts of making indecent photographs of a child, some classed in category A – the most serious.
Bradley, of Battlebarrow, Appleby, will be sentenced at the crown court on a future date. In the meantime he was granted bail by Judge Peter Hughes QC.
Bradley has already been told to sign the sex offenders’ register. The exact length of time will be determined when he is sentenced.
