[T]ickets have just gone on sale for what promises to be one of South Lakeland’s events of the year – Rosemere Cancer Foundation’s Anniversary Ball at the Belsfield Hotel, Windermere.
The black tie ball takes place on Friday, November 3rd and has a 7 pm drinks reception that is followed by a three course dinner and entertainment that includes headlining vocalist Stephen Bayliss, magician Jason Ray and talented upcoming local singer Becki Fishwick.
The ball is raising money for Rosemere Cancer Foundation’s 20 Years Anniversary Appeal. The appeal launched in March to raise £1.5 million for a trio of ground breaking projects at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s Rosemere Cancer Centre at the Royal Preston Hospital.
The centre, which is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its opening, is South Cumbria and Lancashire’s specialist cancer treatment centre. It provides all local radiotherapy among other specialist care. Rosemere Cancer Foundation’s work also extends to another eight hospitals in South Cumbria and Lancashire where cancer patients are treated, including the Westmorland and Furness General Hospitals.
Tickets for the ball are £50 per person for a standard ticket and £65 per person for a VIP ticket. VIP guests receive extra fizz and a Laura Ashley goody bag filled with treats. To book tickets, call 01772 522913.
