[A]t 6:55pm yesterday, Wednesday 20 September firefighters were called to a fire in a conservatory of a cottage at Cartmel Fell.
Firefighters, one crew from Grange and one from Windermere, attended the incident and found the conservatory well alight on arrival.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews, four wearing breathing apparatus, used three hose reel jets, one main jet, a light portable pump, a thermal imaging camera and small tools to control and extinguish the fire.
“Crews were at the scene for two hours and 40 minutes.”
