[P]arents of children attending the city’s primary schools are being invited to visit Central Academy to see what life is like for students on a normal school day.
On Thursday 5 October between 9am and 11am parents will be able to visit the school to meet the staff and students and see lessons in progress. The event is designed to give parents the opportunity to experience what a normal school day is like.
Stephen Gilby, Principal said: “Parents will be choosing secondary schools for their children very soon and we want to make sure that parents have all the information they need to make this decision with confidence. That is why we have decided to invite parents to see an Academy day for themselves. I was delighted by the number of visitors to our open evening, but to get a real insight into a school, you need to see it in action. There is no better way to find why Ofsted have graded our school as ‘Good’.”
Parents who would like to attend should book with the Academy by emailing [email protected] or by calling 01228 822060.
