[O]n the 30th September 2017, the historic market town of Keswick in the northern Lake District, is welcoming the opening of a unique visitor attraction called Fultons Lakes Jewellery Works.
The brand-new attraction is headed up by husband and wife team Brian and Zoe Fulton. Brian has been designing, making and selling exquisite bespoke jewellery to both the trade and public for 35 years since his training began at Openshaw College in Manchester.
In his first year at the college, Brian won the Pendlebury Award for the best first year jewellery student and his passion for the craft was ignited, gaining an advanced city and guilds qualification. Using traditional skills tempered with the latest technology they create unique items that cannot be found anywhere else in the county and create a unique insight into the jewellery manufacturing process.
Brian and Zoe have been based at the Blencathra Business Centre, Threlkeld since 2004. Today with support from the Rural Development Programme for Englands Cumbria Fells & Dales LEADER Programme, they have been able to develop their longstanding business and relocate to the centre of Keswick, and share the skills, passion and desire that go into creating their beautiful pieces of jewellery with the wider public.
Fultons Lakes Jewellery Works will offer a unique and exclusive luxury experience where the visitor or customer will be able to see for themselves how jewellery is created and the intricate process it entails, be involved in the design process with the added opportunity to sample and buy products from the shop.
