[A] man has been flown to hospital after collapsing and suffering a cardiac arrest in Keswick.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to a man in his 80s at 11:55am today, Wednesday 4 October.
A spokesman for GNAAS said: “We flew from our base at Langwathby, near Penrith, to assist North West Ambulance Service on scene.
“The patient was resuscitated and anaesthetised before being flown to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
“He arrived in a critical condition.”
