[A] woman has been hurt after her car overturned on the A66 near Penrith.
Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision on the A66 at Rheged at 6:15pm yesterday, Wednesday 4 October.
A Suzuki 4×4 had overturned on the roundabout.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “The driver, a 21-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries, we don’t believe she required hospital treatment.”
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 6:26pm firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on the A66 Rheged, Penrith.
“The incident involved a car on its side and the crew made the area safe.
“Police and paramedics attended to look after two casualties.”
