[P]olice have investigated an incident where a man approached a boy walking on a country road near Culgaith and offered him a lift in his car.
The incident occurred at 4:30pm on Tuesday 3 October.
Inspector Jon Oliphant said: “Police were called to reports of a potentially suspicious incident at Culgaith, where a 14-year-old boy had been approached by a man asking if he required a lift, while he was walking along a country road.
“Officers have investigated this incident and have spoken to the boy involved, as well as the school, and have provided a visible police presence in the area.
“Following enquiries it is believed that there were no threats or intimidation involved. There is no perceived cause of concern to any members of the public.”
