Time to Change Cumbria Coordinator

Carlisle Eden Mind, Cumbria Police, People First Independent Advocacy and the World Health Innovation Summit invite you to join us to mark World Mental Health Day 2017 with an event in Carlisle City Centre from 10am to 3pm on Tuesday 10th October.

Take part in yoga demonstrations, grab some popcorn and catch a film in our pop up cinema, grab a bite to eat from our pop up cafe provided by the The Shabby Scholar or a drink from our friends at Starbucks UK

With the help of great organisations from around the region we are hoping to raise awareness of mental health in a positive, creative and interactive way; demonstrating that our mental wellbeing is there to be nurtured and developed on a day to day basis.

Find out more about the array of support and services available in the area!

Take part in conversations around mental health and help reduce the stigma and discrimination which is often experienced.

Champions involved in the Time to Change Cumbria campaign will be milling around starting up as many conversations as possible and utilising the squishy seating area provided by Impact Housing Association around the Pop Up café to start breaking down the barriers that still surround mental health.

The theme for World Mental Health Day this year is Wellbeing in the Workplace. If you’re a business – why not send your staff down during their lunchbreak to find out more about looking after their mental wellbeing?

Can’t wait to see you there!
