[P]olice are investigating a suspected arson attack to a storage area at the rear of Clinton Cards, Portland Walk, Barrow.
The fire service attended the incident at 4.15pm on Sunday 15th October.
A fire had been ignited within an external store cupboard which had been left insecure. Cause is believed to be deliberate ignition of waste cardboard although there was no indication of any accelerant.
The fire was extinguished prior to any impact upon the main building but damage was caused to the wooden doors of the cupboard.
