[C]umbria Police are investigating a theft of an ATM machine from Aldi on Preston Street in Whitehaven.
The incident happened overnight, before 4:48am, on Tuesday, 17th October. The ATM was extracted from a building on Preston Street.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “This is the third ATM in West Cumbria to be targeted in since September: the other two occurring in Aspatria and Cockermouth.
“Whilst we are not currently linking the three incidents, we are following all lines of enquiry.”
Police are appealing for any witnesses that may have seen any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area.
