[P]olice have named the man who died as a result of a collision on the A65 at the Skipton Castle junction on Friday 13 October 2017.
He was 20-year-old Edward Brier from Earby in Lancashire.
Edward’s family have released the following statement: “Ed’s life has been tragically cut far too short, but he will be remembered by all of his family and friends for his love of the great outdoors and being with nature, the pleasure he took when riding his motorbike or playing his guitar and his ambition to qualify as a joiner.
“Ed was caring and sensitive with a quirky sense of humour, and his warm smile would melt the hearts of strangers. His girlfriend, Hannah, brought sunshine into his life, as he did into the lives of those he met and he is so badly missed by so many.”
