[P]olice are appealing for information after a fatal collision in Oldham.
Just before 5.45am on Saturday 21 October 2017, police were called to reports of a collision on Lees Road.
A white Ford Transit van had been on Lees Road when it collided with some houses.
The 27 year-old driver sadly died as a result of the collision.
A 19 year-old man has been taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Sergeant Lee Westhead of GMP’s Serious Collision Unit, said: “My thoughts are with the victim’s family, who are being looked after by specially trained officers at this difficult time.
“While we work to uncover how this happened and piece together the moments before the collision, I’m asking for the public to help in any way they can.
“If you were in the area this morning, know anything about the van’s movements, or have dash-can images, please get in touch and share this information.”
