[T]he Royal Oak, Keswick, has a new look following a substantial refurbishment.
Around £350,000 has been spent transforming bedrooms at the inn, which now have new furniture which celebrates the fantastic Lakeland surroundings.
The bar and restaurant area on the ground floor have also been refreshed as part of the project.
General Manager Chris Lloyd said: “We have reconfigured some of the guest bedrooms so we could create more space.
“They all look stunning – we’re particularly loving the way the interior designer has thought about our Lake District surroundings and incorporated that into the look and feel of the furniture.
“Staying at The Royal Oak has always been a real treat for visitors to the world’s favourite national park. And now they can enjoy the very best standards of hospitality and accommodation with our new rooms at their service.”
The Royal Oak refurbishmemt was funded by owners Thwaites, a hospitality company operating hundreds of pubs, inns and hotels across the UK.
