Police have confirmed that the body of a male was found earlier today on Canal Street, Ulverston.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Officers were called at 10.11am after a body was discovered in a canal.
“Police are today working to contact the next of kin.
“At this time there appear to be no suspicious circumstances.”
