Nicky Jenkins, a Cumbrian artist, has become the latest local to lend a helping hand to Cumbria’s newest artisan market Gifted Eden, which is taking place in Penrith on Saturday 16 April from 9am-4pm in St Andrews Church Yard.

Nicky’s hand painted signs are well known in Penrith with some having been created to advertise Penrith on a Plate last year and, more recently, The Marmalade Festival in the town. Nicky designs and produces the signs herself and was more than happy to oblige when Gifted Eden asked her to get involved.

Nicky Jenkins said: “I am very happy to have painted the signs for the new artisan market and I hope everyone enjoys having their photo taken in the market stall picture board!”

Nicky’s signs will be on display throughout the day on Saturday directing people towards the market in St Andrew’s Churchyard which will run from 9am till 4pm.

She has also scaled up her sign design especially for Gifted Eden creating a huge head in the hole style board for all the market revellers to have their photo taken with.
