The Hoo LIVE at the Beacon Social Club

The Hoo
The Hoo

[T]he Hoo are Ian (guitar/vocals/electronic drums), Ben (bass/vocals) and James (harmonica/vocals) who are all from Penrith, Cumbria.

Ian and Ben have been part of the local music scene for many years and have played together in the past with their old mate Olly Alcock. Ben has recently played with local rock band Bad Fettle and Ian used to be part of local band The Hoovers (hence the name!).

James has been honing his harmonica playing over the last few years, mostly with various blues bands around Penrith.

As well as covering many modern ‘acoustic’ style acts such as Mumford & Sons, Aviici, George Ezra, Jack Savoretti & James Bay, we have also adapted classics by more established artists like the Rolling Stones, Paul Simon, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan and The Mavericks to provide a great nights entertainment for all events.

The Hoo are performing LIVE at the Beacon Social Club on Duke Street, Penrith on Saturday night, 16 April.

Free entry – everyone welcome.
