Man trapped in Carlisle crash

A man has been cut from his car after a road traffic collision in Carlisle.

At 7:10am today, Tuesday 19 April firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on Warwick Road, Carlisle.

The incident involved a car and a skip with one man trapped.

A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “The crew used cutting equipment to release the man from the vehicle.

“He was then handed to the care of paramedics.”
