Police can confirm that a man has been reported to court following a public order incident on 3rd March 2016.

This incident relates to a verbal altercation between an adult and a child, where threats were made.

Christopher Cooper, 37, described how son Braiden, 9, was left with a broken arm and daughter Millie, 11, was repeatedly tormented for over a year.

He allegedly confronted the perpetrators telling them to ‘leave his kids alone’ and now faces public order charges.

He claimed at the time that North Walney Primary School and police failed to intervene.

A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “The man, 37, from Barrow, has been reported to court for a ‘section 4 public order offence’.

“He has received summons to court for May 26th.”

Mr Cooper said: “I am just bewildered by the whole thing. It is a crazy world we live in.”
