Egremont Town Council By Election

On May 5 2016, electors in the South Ward of Egremont Town Council will be able to vote for a new councillor to represent them on the Town Council.

The election is taking place on the same day as the election for the Cumbria Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC). Details about the town council election and the candidates can be found on the council’s website:

Polling stations are open from 7.00am until 10.00pm on May 5. The town council votes will be verified and counted at Egremont Market Hall after the close of poll. (The votes for the PCC election will be verified after the close of poll and will be counted on Friday, May 6.)
