Teenager suffers allergic reaction on Lake District mountain

7510[A]n 18-year-old woman has been flown to hospital after suffering from an allergic reaction on Blencathra.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service, Pride of Cumbria was called to the incident at 1pm today, Monday 2 May.

The woman, who is from the Cockermouth area was treated on scene and flown to the Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle.

Her condition on arrival at hospital was described as comfortable.
