Police name Penrith woman who died after A66 crash

[P]olice can confirm that 37-year-old Helen Threlfell from Clifton died following a collision on the A66 near Stainton, Penrith.

Police were called at just before 4pm on Friday 15th April 2016, following a report of a one vehicle road traffic collision.

Helen was taken to the RVI in Newcastle and died due to her injuries on the 1st May 2016.

Specially trained officers are supporting the family at this time.
