Dumfries girl, 15, dies after being found unconscious

At around 10pm on Friday 6 May 2016, police received a report of an unconscious 15-year-old girl at an address in Nithside Avenue, Dumfries.

Emergency services attended and the girl was taken by ambulance to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary where she was pronounced dead a short time later.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “The girl can now be named as Chloe Orr.

” Her relatives are aware.

“A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death however there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.

“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
