Penrith teenager faces offensive weapons, theft and drugs charges

[A] Penrith man has been sent to Carlisle Crown Court for a pre trial preparation hearing by magistrates in Carlisle.

Lewis Alan Davidson, 18, gave his address as White Ox Way, he faces five-allegations which all relate to March 17 at Penrith.

He is charged with possession of an offensive weapon (a police style baton) on Ullswater Road, he then offered to supply a quantity of cannabis a class B drug.

Also alleged possession of cannabis.

An alleged theft of cash from a person.

The final allegation is he had possession of a prohibited weapon (disguised firearm) namely a Taser device which was allegedly disguised as another object.

Davidson did not enter pleas today, and will next appear at the Crown Court on June 17.
