Woman admits Carlisle burglary

[A] WOMAN is set to be sentenced next month after she admitted being responsible for a Carlisle burglary.

Amanda Queen, 45, appeared at the city’s crown court today (TUES) to face one charge.

Queen pleaded guilty to a burglary which occurred at Water Street in Carlisle on the night of 24th April.

The court was told a small amount of loose change was stolen during the crime although this was said to have been recovered.

Judge Barbara Forrester asked for background information about Queen, and adjourned the case.

Queen, of Holywell Crescent, Carlisle, is due to be sentenced on 21st June.

In the meantime she was remanded in custody.
