Vehicle overturns on M6 near Penrith

[A]t 7:20am today, Monday 6 June firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on the M6 northbound, between junctions 40 and 41, with reports of a person trapped inside an overturned vehicle.

A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival, firefighters found that all persons had been released and were in the care of paramedics.

“Crews proceeded to make the scene safe.”
