Care Assistant / Home Carer

The Human Support Group[T]he Human Support Group have been awarded a contract by Cumbria Council to be the main provider of homecare in Workington, Cockermouth, Aspatria, Egremont, Seascale, Gosforth, St Bees and Whitehaven, due to this we’re looking to recruit for both full time and part time care assistants to support our well established Whitehaven Branch.

For this role we’re offering the following:

Who are we?
The Human Support Group are a national Company that was established in 1998 and who provide care in the community to around 3,000 Service Users each week.
In order to provide the highest level of care we need to ensure we recruit talented, competent and passionate carers. That’s where you come in!

We are looking for people who have a caring nature and a commitment to providing a high standard of care to vulnerable people within the community.

Successful candidates will need to complete an Enhanced DBS check shortly after being successful from interview. This role has an exception under the Equality Act 2010 as you must be aged 18 or over.

Experience is not essential as full, paid training and shadowing will be provided.

Access to your own vehicle is essential due to the nature of this role.
