[L]eigh Centurions can confirm that Eze Harper has joined Kingstone Press Championship One side Barrow Raiders on one month’s loan.

Harper, who has made two first team appearances this season earned Heritage Number 1408 after making his debut on the wing in the victory at home to Sheffield Eagles in March.  He later played in the win at Workington Town over the Easter period.

One of the stand-out performers in the Centurions Reserves side over the previous two seasons, Harper, 21, was promoted to join the full-time squad for the current campaign.

Leigh Centurions Head Coach Neil Jukes said: “We have an excellent relationship with the Barrow club and their coach Paul Crarey. Eze has had limited opportunities this season and with us not running a reserve grade side this year this is an ideal opportunity for him to play at a good standard.

“It will sharpen his match fitness and will be an important part of his development and will benefit all parties.  We shall be closely monitoring Eze’s performances during his time at Barrow.”
