Police name girl, 12, who died at Fleetwood caravan park

A girl who sadly died at a caravan park in Fleetwood has been named as Paige Daughtry, 12, from Oldham in Greater Manchester.

Police were called around 9.40pm on Monday, July 18 to the Cala Gran Holiday Park in Fleetwood Road, Fleetwood.

The Ambulance Service had contacted police after Paige was found unresponsive at the scene by paramedics.

She was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital for treatment but sadly died a short time later.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: “A post mortem examination has been carried out and while the exact cause of death has not been ascertained there are not thought at this stage to be any suspicious circumstances.

“A file will be passed to HM Coroner.

“Our thoughts remain with the family at this tragic time. They are being supported by officers from Lancashire Police.”
