Permanent Contract 22 hours per week (Job Share)
Salary £28,203 – £29,854 Pro Rata

[A]re you keen to help us create new jobs and grow the economy of Eden? We are looking for a new team member who can offer us a wide range of skills coupled with an enthusiastic and highly organised approach to work.

You will develop and take forward Eden’s economic strategy and associated action plans that support the Council’s economic aspirations; create performance monitoring systems and implement approved projects in support of the strategy.

You will be responsible for seeking out and implementing commercial activities that generate additional income for the Council in order to support high quality service delivery. You will take a lead role in relation to assisting designated key service centres in their economic aspirations and look after a small but dedicated team of Economic Development Officers.

You should be an approachable individual with excellent communication skills to work closely with local groups and help them with advice and practical support.
