Appeal after teenagers attacked in Carlisle park

[P]olice are appealing for information in relation to two incidents where three teenagers were assaulted.

Officers believe these incidents have taken place in Bitts Park, Carlisle, during the month of July 2016.

The first incident reported involves a teenage boy with brown short hair, wearing a light blue t-shirt, patterned blue shorts and white trainers, who was kicked and punched by another male teenager before he managed to run away.

The next incident involves the assault of two teenage boys, one with brown hair wearing a grey hoody, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers, the other has brown hair and is wearing a blue short sleeved top, a black back pack, NIKE tracksuit bottoms and black trainers. It is reported that the two boys were walking together from Bitts Park towards West Tower Street when they were approached by a male teenager, who punched them both before running away to safety.

Police are appealing for the victims, as described above, to contact PC 2290 Brown on 101.

Officers would also like anyone who has information or who has witnessed anything to call Cumbria Police on 101 and ask for PC 2290 BROWN or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
