Girl flown to hospital after Eskdale fall

eskdale gnaasAN 11-year-old girl has been airlifted to hospital in Liverpool after falling around 8ft from a wall.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Eskdale at 4:56pm on August 7.

A spokesman for GNAAS said: “The girl suffered a spinal injury and was treated by the GNAAS doctor-led trauma team before being airlifted to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, where she arrived in a stable condition.”
