Power cut affecting 1,485 properties in Penrith

A mains electrical fault has left 1,485 homes and businesses without power in the Penrith area.

A spokesman for Electricity North West said: “Our engineers are en route and we hope to restore supplies as soon as possible.

“We apologise for any inconvenience.”
