Two hurt in Carlisle pub brawl

[T]wo men have been injured after trouble flared in a Carlisle pub.

Police were called at 9.30pm last night to reports of an assault at the Joiners Arms on Church Street, Carlisle.

A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “A 56-year-old man and 57-year-old man were taken to the Cumberland Infirmary with minor injuries.

“A 40-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and ABH.”
