Woman hurt in Buttermere fall

Callout_Newlands Hause_CopyrightCockermouthMountainRescueTeam_05092016_OnlyToBeUsedInRelationToThisIncident-Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team was called today, Monday 5 September to a 56-year-old woman from Australia who had slipped and injured her ankle on a path above Newlands Hause, Buttermere, whilst walking with her husband.

The team attended to her injuries, and stretchered her to the waiting ambulance at Newlands Hause.

24 team members attended the callout.
