Family of dead Barrow man found after appeal

[F]ollowing an appeal for information yesterday (14th September) police have successfully located the family of Paul Hawkrigg, aged 60, of no fixed abode, who was found dead on Monday evening (12th September).

Detective Sergeant Mike Wallace said: “A next of kin has been found for Mr Hawkrigg.

“We would like to thank everyone for their help. We have spoken to Mr Hawkrigg’s family who are now in contact with the Coroner.”

The cause of Mr Hawkrigg’s death has not yet been ascertained , and details have been passed to the Coroner.
