Firefighters tackle Kingmoor Park blaze

[F]irefighters are tackling a blaze on Kingmoor Park in Carlisle.

At 11:57am today, Thursday 6 October one fire engine from Carlisle West and one from Longtown were called to reports of a building fire on Kingmoor Park.

A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival, crews found that the roof of a commercial building was on fire and so they used one hose reel jet and a nine metre ladder to bring the fire under control.

“Crews are still dealing with the incident.”
