Keswick to host a dog fashion show

hurtta-slush-copy[K]eswick is set to stage a glamorous fashion show this December, showcasing the latest coats, boots and accessories..For dogs.

Keswick pet shop Podgy Paws is this year marking its 10th birthday and to celebrate a decade in business in the town, it is hosting a fabulous Charity Doggy Fashion Show at the Inn on the Square on Sunday the 11th of December at 7pm.

At the fashion show, rescue dogs will model a range of the products available at Podgy Paws including harnesses, backpacks, collars and leads, many of which come with a bespoke fitting service to ensure they fit correctly.

Only humans are allowed to attend the show and they will be treated to dinner too, as the ticket price includes a hot turkey baguette with stuffing and a vodka cranberry sauce.

The proceeds from the show will go to support West Cumbria Animal Concern and there will be a raffle to help raise money too, with prizes kindly donated by Podgy Paws suppliers and local businesses.

Peter Harper, owner of Podgy Paws said: “We wanted to do something different to celebrate our ten years in business and this will certainly be different!  It will be lots of fun and will raise money for a brilliant cause.”
