Police appeal after Barrow hit-and-run

POLICE are investigating a fail-to-stop road traffic collision in Barrow.

At around 6.15pm on Wednesday, 16 November 2016, a car struck two vehicles parked in Hawcoat Lane in Barrow-in-Furness.

However, the driver did not stop at the scene of the collision.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of an accident and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Officers are still appealing for anyone with information about this incident to call 101 quoting incident number 159 of 16 November 2016 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
