Canine wishes come true as Santa Paws visits Keswick

img_9353On Sunday the 18th of December Santa Paws will be waiting to greet dogs from all over the county at his Doggy Grotto at Podgy Paws Pet Shop in Keswick.

Between 1.00pm and 5.00pm, dog owners are invited to bring their pooches to The Doggy Grotto as part of the Keswick Live Advent – a pop-up festive event with the lighting of an illuminated window throughout the town each day until Christmas Day.

For a small donation to West Cumbria Animal Concern, each dog will receive a surprise Christmas present, with Podgy Paws revealing their illuminated festive window display at 4.00pm.

Peter Harper, owner of Podgy Paws said: “We had a Doggy Santa Grotto for the first time last year and it was brilliant. The dogs’ reactions towards Santa Paws were amazing, they really seemed to love it and it far exceeded our expectations. On top of that we raised a significant amount of money for West Cumbria Animal Rescue to help them with the great work they do.”
